Sunday 9 August 2009

We went for a lovely Sunday drive up the Blue Mountains today to drop off my niece who stayed with us the weekend and also to pick up this lovely little piece. I am loving the the colour of this little cupboard, it brings a little something to the family room that is mostly neutral, black & white. Will most probably change the handles but apart from that nothing else will be changing. Gotta love Ebay...

I just found your blog through Marley and Lockyer, and I've enjoyed visiting. Thanks for sharing, that cupboard is beautiful, love the colour and the applique on it too.

Thank you so much for coming to let me know what the paint colour is, it is very much appreciated. Oh! The roses in the 7th picture, they are David Austin's (also known as English Rose) "St. Cecelia". This rose is absolutely wonderful, great colour, intoxicating lovely scent, good size bush, tough and I highly recommend her, especially in Australia. Often in catalogues they will say St. Cecilia is light apricot colour, but I find mine is pink most of the time, which I don't mind.
